With another successful year for Cloudfm drawing to a close, we are delighted to announce the publication of our FY 2017/18 annual report. The past 12 months have been an incredibly exciting chapter in the Cloudfm story, as we continue our mission to change the rules of Facilities Management.
What we’ve achieved:
Expanding in Europe – Not only have we won a string of new clients this year, but we have also expanded our activity into Europe. We have opened a new subsidiary and premises in Dublin, and launched a joint venture, with its own premises in Barcelona. The launch of Cloudfm in Spain is a collaboration with Optima Facility, one of the leading facilities management providers in the country.
The cutting edge of technology – We’ve also been working on the Freedom Client App, which brings together artificial intelligence and speech recognition, to make the power of the Freedom platform even easier to access for site managers and client operations managers. Launching in January 2019 the app will save an average of 5.5 minutes per task for site staff – which will amount to over £2m across all our clients in the first year.
Building on Excellence – Training and development is an essential and ongoing requirement, to ensure the most highly skilled teams in the industry can continue to deliver an unprecedented level of service to our clients. To help achieve this, this year we launched our own, purpose-built, Academy facility. An industry-first, staff at all levels, from engineers to the helpdesk, undergo hands-on training and vocational courses. Training at the Cloudfm Academy is also available to our supply chain partners.
Supporting local sport –This year, we expanded our partnership with Essex County Cricket Club, so we can offer hospitality opportunities to even more of our clients, partners and colleagues, and continue to support the work they do to promote sport in the community. We were very proud indeed to be a part of Essex County Cricket Club’s historic County Championship victory in the 2017 season and look forward to being a part of their achievements in seasons to come.
Industry Influencers – The next step in Cloudfm’s mission to change the facilities management industry is to influence the rest of the industry towards better practices, show how it can learn from other industries, and show how other industries can learn from Cloudfm. To that end, 2017/18 saw the release of Cloudfm’s new magazine and media platform, Perform. The pilot issue carried interviews with World Cup winning rugby coach, Sir Clive Woodward and hospitality and TV legend, Fred Sirieix.
